Illustrations

This gallery contains only the most recent (or most favorite) of my digital works in this category that I have chosen to display, up to a total of 20 images. Items will be rotated beyond that point as newer ones are included.

Over five years of working online as a volunteer on AOL in its "good days", there were numerous occasions in which I was involved with creating illustrative graphics to digitally highlight an article or decorate a forum's content. Many of those have been quite unmemorable or more accurately: plain, as is frequently the case for images that don't really seem much like "art" when removed from the document they were drawn to illustrate. A few rise beyond their initial function, but in the case of those that don't fit into other DreamVision gallery categories, I have gathered them into this one. The most recent additions to this gallery are mainly thanks to the challenges offered by the Art Exercise e-mail group, where specific subjects are offered each week to help a person expand their skills or just plain have some artistic fun!

Many of these images were created using PhotoFinish 3.0, but I use additional programs as well. Learn more about the software in my Dreamview: DreamTools & Toys section.
