Terragen 0.7, Universe. The "Planet X" challenge of TerraCon arrived only a couple months after I'd completed the Neptune moons, so much of the technique employed was the same, although this time I didn't need to adhere to any set statistics. Universe provided the starfield and planetary neighbors; the terrain (based on a fractal RAW image) and the atmospheric effect is from Terragen. I was quite surprised (and pleased) to learn the image took Honorable Mention in the contest. |
