d'Esprit 3, Paint Shop Pro 5 Models: my own mosquito The challenge topic was a brief, surreal essay. As I read it, I imagined thousands of lusting mosquitoes separated from their human target by simple window glass. The image it suggested was a bit too complex for me to take on, so I simplified it to a single mosquito's fantasy dream. I scoured the net, but couldn't locate a mosquito model, so I gathered reference material then constructed my own model in Ray Dream Studio. She wasn't very purty, but she'd do. I brought her into Vue d'Esprit and placed her on an endless ocean of blood. After rendering, I painted in some additional detailing, making her as surreal as the inspirational essay. |
