Shop Pro 6, Mavica, Deep Paint 1 The whitewashed side of a local store provided the bricks. After some modifcation in PSP, I went to Deep Paint to add the markings. The bricks were meant to be those of the inevitable "brick wall" one runs into that sparks frustration. The colorful chalk marks represent the fanciful dreams, hopes and enthusiasm one is attempting to follow before connecting with the bricks. The black India ink marks are the grudging resignation as one acknowledges the brick wall as a solid obstacle. Unfortunately, the image ended up appearing more like someone's idea of bad graffiti in an urban alley. |
