1 - Open a New file in Vue d'Esprit
and select any atmosphere.
2 - Move to Layer 2. Grow a Plum
Tree. Widen it in the Top View horizontally and vertically (X and Z), then
lean/tilt it slightly to the right.
3 - Grow a second Plum Tree. Using
the Top View, lean/tilt it slightly to the left. Using the Side or Front
view, lengthen it a bit vertically., making it taller Now align the very
bottom of the trunk so that it originates from the exact spot as Plum Tree
#1.
Note: if you want to move this
"two-in-one" tree after this point, be sure to select both Plum Trees before
altering the size or position.
4- Open the Material Summary, choose
the Plum Leaves material, right-click and select Load New Material. Choose
some nice alternate leaves such as my
tMisty.
This wireframe capture
displays how the tree models are leaned and aligned for the technique described
here.
For this example, I have applied
the same technique using the Winter Pear tree also, then replacing the Pear
Branches material with my
tBlossom2.
Render the scene and enjoy your new, personality-filled trees that no one
else has!
