1999:
Light Visitor
This is one of my favorites for the year. The background features a photograph of the Orion nebula from the NASA public archives, and I brought the colors forward from that to work them throughout the image. The sparkling lights were formed with a greatly enlarged starfield created in Universe which was then motion blurred in four directions.
