Poser was used to set up the lighting and shadows for the basic "sketch." The rest was freehand work in PSP. This image went through a great many changes along the way. Originally I was working it rather darkly, in deep maroon and navy shades. Bringing it to the pastels was an enormous improvement and better represents this majestic archangel.
