Models: Poser 2 male, wings by Virus, my own horn
This image began with the horn, which I modeled in RDS. I imported the new model into Poser and set it up with the angel figure and wings, then transferred the works back to RDS where the angel was rendered against a cloud-like backdrop. I sort of liked the result of the RDS lighting in particular, but the image seemed incomplete. In Terragen, I set up a high-view scene with sun-rays and the basic color-tones I wanted to match with the RDS lighting. Then I brought the renderings from RDS and Terragen into PSP to meld them together. Additionally, I painted the angel's skin, wings, hair and clothing, and also emphasized the colorations of the background terrain and sky.
